About This Cause
Nearly 450 years ago, our ancestors — Sayeds who served as Qazis in the Mogul court — were gifted land in what became the village of Paigaam Kasbah, the first Muslim settlement in the region. The masjid built there has served the community ever since, held under the Kazi family waqf alongside the village's high school and graveyard.
This fund supports ongoing upkeep: roof and structural repairs, electrical and water systems, and the everyday maintenance that keeps a centuries-old masjid safe and welcoming for the families who still pray there.
Every riyal or dollar given here is a sadaqa jariah tied directly to our family's roots — a charity whose reward continues as long as the masjid stands and people gather there to pray.
